The Kodiak Public Library Association held their annual meeting and volunteer appreciation on Saturday, March 8 at the Kodiak Public Library. The event was catered by the Kodiak High School Culinary Class. Thank you!
Thank you to all our volunteers who have assisted us in the last year–we have logged over 200 volunteer hours from 2024-2025, and could not have done it without you!
During the meeting, the board approved bylaw changes to improve flexibility in board positions, including removing term limits for directors and officers and clarifying when voting can take place.
All present voted unanimously to elect the following to the board for a 3 year term:
- Mike Sirofchuck, third term
- Marti Sager, third term
- Starr Shanley, first term
Election of officers took place after board elections. The results are as follows:
- Chair: Mike Sirofchuck
- Vice Chair: Marylynn Mcfarland
- Secretary: Rachel Jermann
- Treasurer: Patricia Ossowski
